Editorial Guidelines

Every release passes a compliance and quality review before it reaches our media network. Following these guidelines keeps your campaign on schedule.

Last updated: 31 August 2026

1. Newsworthiness

A release should report a genuine development: a mainnet launch, funding round, partnership, listing, audit result, product release, appointment or research finding. Pure promotion without news is declined.

2. Format

  • 400–800 words, written in third person.
  • Clear headline under 100 characters and a one-sentence subheadline.
  • Dateline with city and date, plus an "About" boilerplate.
  • At least one attributed quote from a named executive.
  • Media contact name and email.

3. Sourcing and claims

Statistics, audit results, user numbers and funding amounts must be verifiable and, where possible, linked to a primary source. Superlatives such as "the world's first" require evidence.

4. Financial compliance

We do not distribute price predictions, guaranteed returns, investment advice, or solicitations to buy tokens or securities. Releases referencing token sales must include a clear risk disclaimer and comply with local law.

5. Prohibited content

  • Unlicensed gambling, mixers, or sanctions-evading services.
  • Defamatory or misleading statements about competitors.
  • Plagiarised content or AI-generated text presented as reporting.
  • Adult content, hate speech or illegal offerings.

6. Media assets

Supply logos and images you own the rights to, at 1200×630 or larger. We add a sponsored or partner label where the outlet requires one.

7. Links

Up to three outbound links are permitted. Some outlets apply nofollow attributes or strip links entirely; this is outside our control.

8. Review and revisions

Our desk responds with an approval or an edit request within one business day. Two rounds of revision are included with every package.

9. Corrections

Once live, corrections depend on the publisher. Email pr@cryptopresswire.io and we will submit the request on your behalf.
